Image and Video Downloader is built and maintained by Yash.

It started from a simple frustration: most download sites bury the actual file under pop-ups, fake buttons, redirects and sign-up walls. This site takes the opposite approach. The page you land on is the page that does the work.

What it does today

• Instagram: videos, Reels, photos and carousels, stories, highlights, audio as MP3 or M4A, and an anonymous story viewer.
• Facebook: public videos and Live replays up to 1080p, Reels in vertical HD, and the sound as MP3 or M4A.
• YouTube: videos up to 4K, Shorts, MP3 or M4A audio and SRT subtitles.
• Coming soon: TikTok, X (Twitter), Pinterest, Threads and Reddit. Their pages say so plainly and have no download field until the tool works.

How it works

You paste a link. The server reads only the post's ID from it, asks the platform for that post, and streams the media back to your browser. Files are passed through, never stored, and the link you pasted is not logged.

What we promise

• No sign-up and no login. We will never ask for your social media password.
• Honest quality. You see the resolutions a post really has. Nothing is upscaled to look bigger.
• No watermark added. The file you save is the file the platform serves.
• Public content only. Private accounts and private posts stay private.
• Respect for creators. The tools are for saving your own content, public media you have permission to keep, and personal offline viewing. Reposting someone else's work as your own is not okay.
